We've got a little house on a couple of acres, which the deer and other wildlife are under the impression they own. We're happy to share, although we like to emphasize that he/she who weeds the garden ought to be the one who eats the biggest share from it.

We are very near to the Potomac River, where Lexie likes to romp and we enjoy canoeing and hiking on the towpath. The town of Shepherdstown is small and self-contained, with a coffee house, independent bookstore, movie theater and whole foods store.
